I’m so proud to say that I’ve taken part in an award-winning campaign. My work on Eurostar’s #storiesarewaiting took home the prize at the 2014 Brand Republic Digital Awards in the Leisure & Sporting category.
During the last quarter of 2013, Arena Media pushed out a blogger campaign to go along with Eurostar’s re-branded commercial, Stories Are Waiting. We selected 10 influential London-based bloggers to take a journey to Paria (via Eurostar, naturally) and tell us their unique stories.
These stories were placed on the blogger’s own website, as well as our own Eurostar-branded microsite. We then invited the rest of the world to publish their own stories for a chance to win a trip to Paris.
The result: we made a second video, completely made up of user-generated content. What better way to showcase a travel brand than to highlight all the unique experiences every individual has when they go to a new place? It was an exhilarating 3-month campaign that really set the bar for the future of branded content.
